4GW Blowback or 5GW Pawn
I have a new post up on western unbelief as a form of Christianity, and it after writing:
The most visible Christian ideological death squad is Islam, for obvious reasons. However, evangelical secularism or Ultracavlisnism, may form a Christian intellectual death-squad as well
Sight is central to 5GW, obviously, and it occured to me that a blowback for a 4GW force may manifest the same way as a pawn would for a 5GW force. The only difference for a 4GW/5GW force between blowback and pawns might be what is made of them, rather than what they are in themselves.

Dan,
I'm wondering if you could clarify your central question in this post. I've read the info at tdaxp, and suppose you could use the "ultracalvinist" metaphor to clarify for me what you mean by confuting a) blowback and b) pawns.
My problem in understanding the question resolves to the fact that I usually consider "blowback" to be an event involving humans -- a focus on the general events -- whereas I consider "pawns" to be humans who cause specific events.
Having said that, I wonder if you are trying to focus in on the quality of the strings used by the Puppet Master 5GW -- i.e., that what could be a pawn instead becomes something of a free agent who will cause problems for the 5GW plan. Is this what you meant?
I think you can think of cryptocalvinism as a set of memes (or memeplex) that has found out how to use 5GW techniques (e.g. secrecy, manipulation) to survive and flourish. How cool is that!
If Christianity is essentially a 4G movement, then ultracalvinism is a form of blowback - harmful feedback generated by the general assault that interfers with successful operations.
If Christianity is essentially a 5G movement, then ultacalvinism is a pawn, helping to alter the structure of society to create Christian ends regardless of the ultracalvinist affinity or hostility to Christianity as such.
