I meant to post these earlier but have been swamped.

Dreaming 5GW has moved to a new hosting environment and now has its own top-level domain:  dreaming5gw.com.

Regular visitors may not have noticed this, since redirects from the old site (main page and individual post pages only) redirect automatically to the correct page on the new host/domain.  Additionally, after a short kerfluffle, the same FeedBurner RSS feed now updates from the new site, providing regular viewers regular updates.

But Technorati ranking, etc., may depend upon the appearance of the new domain in posts, blogrolls, etc.!  ;)

6 different methods for authenticating to leave a comment:

Despite best attempts, the old system continued to make commenting difficult; now, you can log in to comment with:

  1. Movable Type (a new site-registration system much, much better than that on the old system; however, you’ll need to make a new account to use this method of logging in on the new system if you previously registered to comment on Dreaming 5GW.)
  2. OpenID
  3. LiveJournal
  4. Vox
  5. TypeKey
  6. Wordpress
Yes, TypeKey authentication is back.

The process for logging in to leave a comment should work very smoothly now; my apologies to those visitors who have had difficulty engaging in conversation  on D5GW.

Trackbacks turned on.  Be sure to copy the entire trackback link, which has a long string of numbers at its end.  Automatic detection of trackback links will not work.

That’s it for now.
